Solid bench. Great price.

I bought this bench because I was using a run-of-the-mill adjustable bench that was soft as a kitten, wobbly, and had a sticker on it that said “Max user weight: 300 lbs”. I’m 312 lbs and benching 400+ so I wanted something that wasn’t going to eventually buckle and send me to the hospital.

The strongarm bench has a 1000 lb load rating, so that’ll do nicely. Also, it’s firm, stable, and has a good grip on the pad. I’ve heard some people say that this bench model used to be really soft, but that is not the case. My only criticism is that it is very light, so sometimes when I set my back and slide under the bar the bench will slide a bit with me - This could be corrected by just having the bench on a rubber mat instead of concrete like my set up.

Definitely recommend this bench. Good product, good price.

Super sturdy love this bench!

Best decision i made

Way way better benching for me unlike my old crappy folding bench. At first i thought it needed some wheels to haul it around, but it’s light to carry and very sturdy. Feel so much confidence not worrying like my wobbly folding one. :)

Comp specs, firm pad, sturdy/stable on the ground with a single front post design. What’s not to like? I’ve only used it for two workouts so far, but this is an excellent bench. Big upgrade from my narrow bench I had been using previously for the last 5+ years.
You also can’t beat the customer service at StrongArm, Mike was very patient with me and my changing mind on my several orders. Thanks Mike!
