- you are not angled forward at the bottom start position, putting you at a better angle for the all-important start of the pull.
- its one less inch or more that you have to pull compared to a normal sport shoe's heel.
StrongArm slippers are made from full leather, uppers and soles. Extra soft uppers for maximum comfort, while the sole is suede, so the rougher surface means a good grip on carpet, wood, rubber or whatever you are pulling on. Terry cloth inner soles for comfort, and elastic over the top of the foot for snugness.
Fit true to size, great quality.
Found out my deadlift shoes had a 15 mm heel. Noticed how much more comfortable, (and stronger) I was deadlifting barefoot, hence my purchase of the slippers. They are very thin and I think they would not last during regular training usage so I am just keeping them for competition use. They will be perfect for this as they are well made and well sewn. Shipping was half the price of the slippers but that's not Mike's fault! As always, excellent service from Strong Arm Sport!.
These are the first slippers over ever used and I love them. Can't beat the price and the build quality is great
Good grip on pretty slick plywood. Fit perfectly and well priced. 5/5
These are fantastic. Quality build, great price, fast shipping.
I've tried several types of slippers/shoes for deads/squats and these are tough to beat. Like wearing socks. Fit is true to your sneaker size.
In the words of Flanders - feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. Nothing at all. Nothing at all.
